Web Designer and Information Architect

WebFirst is looking for a top-end web designer and information architect to work in our design division.

Prerequisites / Qualifications:

• A minimum of three years experience, designing enterprise-level web sites and applications
• Thorough knowledge of web usability standards and conventions
• Experience/familiarity with Web 2.0 concepts and best practices
• Solid experience with HTML/CSS/Javascript
• Solid experience in Photoshop and Illustrator
• Familiarity with cross browser compatibility issues
• Experience in information architecture (IA) (sitemaps, wireframes, etc.)

Desirable Skills

• Section 508
• Experience doing design with software development teams utilizing .NET Web Technologies (ASP.NET)
• Experience with Flash/ActionScript

ColdFusion MX Application Developer

WebFirst is looking for a cutting edge ColdFusion MX application developer to work in our web development division.

Prerequisites / Qualifications:

• Minimum of five years of web development experience
• Minimum of five years' experience working in all aspects of the software development life cycle
• Minimum of three years of ColdFusion MX development experience
• Minimum of two years of Object Oriented Design and Development experience utilizing CFCs
• Minimum of three years of relational database design and programming (T-SQL) experience w/SQL Server 2000/2005
• Experience with complex business logic and business process management

Desirable Skills

• Working knowledge of one or more of the following Frameworks: Fusebox, Mach-II, or Model-Glue
• Working knowledge of AJAX utilizing XML and/or JSON as data interchange format
• Relational database design and programming (PL/SQL) experience w/Oracle 9i/10g

.NET Web Programmer

WebFirst is looking for a talented .NET web programmer to work in our web development division.

Prerequisites / Qualifications:

• Solid n-tier web application development experience using ASP.NET (C#)
• Experience in all stages of the software development life cycle including requirements gathering, design, development, construction, and implementation
• Working knowledge of UML
• A strong understanding of object-oriented concepts, design patterns, and processes
• Complete command of relational database design (SQL Server 2000/2005; Oracle a plus)
• Proficiency in web-to-database integration
• Proficiency with IIS
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively at both a technical and non-technical level

Desirable Skills

• Experience with XML, XSL, and other XML-related technologies
• Microsoft MCSD/MCSE certification
• Other languages such as classic ASP
• Technical lead experience

Tasks will include planning for, developing, and testing workflow/business process applications, GIS (Geographic Information Systems), data tracking systems, content management systems, Association Management Software and more.
