Federal Labor Relations Authority (FLRA)

WebFirst recently completed an exciting project for the Federal Labor Relations Authority (FLRA), a federal agency dedicated to promoting stable, constructive government labor relations. The FLRA was looking to enhance their website to make it easier for visitors to find information and for employees to quickly and easily post information to their site.
The WebFirst team helped the FLRA achieve their goals by redesigning their site and creating a decisions database with a customized Drupal Content Management System. We’re proud to report that we enabled FLRA to achieve their goals and our implementation marked the first Drupal site for a federal agency.
Under a tight deadline, our WebFirst team configured and customized the Drupal administrator to help the FLRA staff easily upload, edit, and delete new authority decisions or topics. WebFirst also imported over 8,000 decisions to populate the initial database. Now, website visitors can search for information in numerous ways, including by Case Number, Arbiter, and Issuance Date. What’s more, our development team implemented a customized, streamlined workflow that lets FLRA staff quickly upload information, including PDF documents. The web version of the decisions database is W3C and Section 508 compliant.
"WebFirst’s work for my agency has truly been exceptional. Simply stated, they are one of the best vendors I have worked with. With their help, the FLRA launched the first full open source web framework for a Federal agency. They helped set and adjusted to a rapid deployment time of less than three months from concept to launch. We were extremely satisfied with WebFirst’s quality, professionalism and expertise. I would highly recommend them for Content Management implementations and other web projects."
