NACHA is the leading organization in developing electronic solutions to improve the payments system. NACHA develops operating rules and business practices for electronic payments, distributed in hard copy (book) format to over 44,000 groups and individuals.
NACHA came to WebFirst with a goal of launching an online subscription service to publish their electronic banking rules and guidelines. Users purchase a printed book and they also receive a subscription to the online version. The ACH Rules 2008 website provides 24/7 convenient access to increasingly web-savvy and demanding customers; makes new rules changes available more quickly and conveniently to subscribers; and eliminates many of the costs associated with copying and mailing supplemental rules changes.
WebFirst developed a complete, online system that achieved each one of their goals. With a high-security login scheme tied to the serial number of their printed book, users can view the book cover-to-cover, or search for areas of interest. Each user has the ability to save searches and bookmark pages for later viewing. WebFirst also developed a reporting and administrative area where NACHA staff can easily lookup serial numbers and passwords for users. WebFirst developed this site using Microsoft ASP.NET and SQL Server technologies.
