Web Content Analyst

Provide support to federal clients in resolving moderate to complex content–related

Web site issues or requests. Maintain responsibility for the coordination of problem–solving efforts within the project team and the investigation and analysis of requests for operations and maintenance support. Work on fast–turnaround changes, short–term Web site enhancements or expansions, content migrations, and more than one workflows, as needed. Recommend and implement proposed solutions to resolve support requests. Perform limited use and application of basic principles, theories, and concepts. Follow standard practices and procedures and perform closely managed work. Follow specific, outlined, and detailed procedures and report to a Web content team lead or content strategist.

 

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience as a content specialist or conducting help desk support on projects, including Web site migrations

- Exp. conducting a ROT Analysis

- Experience in making content updates and supporting ongoing content development with fast turnaround, following processes diligently

-Experience with working on support request triage and tracking and reporting content requests, workflow, and completed edits

-Experience in content analysis and meeting with client stakeholders to gather and document their content requirements

-Experience in managing content with Percussion or Drupal Web content management systems, multiple similar WCMS, all types of content updates, and menu navigation changes

-Experience with verifying the accuracy of source code in HTML on Web pages

-Experience with conducting content audits, inventories, and assessments

-Experience with creating or updating documentation, including style guide, content updates guide, inventories, or tracking sheets, as necessary

-Knowledge of JIRA and Agile principles

-Must be able to pass a Public Trust clearance (i.e. criminal and civil background check)


 

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with the development and implementation of large–scale Web sites, including content management

-Experience with communicating and working closely with multiple stakeholders and content owners and managers to collect content requirements, develop content, and manage the review workflow from request to publish and go live

-Experience with supporting a federal government contract a plus

-Ability to report Web site performance issues

-BA or BS degree

 

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Public Trust clearance is required. Must be able to pass a security clearance for federal contracting work.


Location: Rockville, MD (Telecommuting options are available after an initial ramp up period.)

Start Date: Monday October 2, 2017
