Roles & Responsibilities

  • Primary role is as a Hunter Leader - open doors to new opportunities and client engagements
  • Assist Management with creating pipeline of new federal clients to establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers
  • Monitor government acquisition notices to identify those that align with WebFirst capabilities and goals
  • Identify growth opportunities by thoroughly understanding the needs of the business through active communication with the client
  • Identify and work with the proposal team to identify and contribute to content leading to submissions of RFIs and RFPs at the federal level
  • Prepare and deliver compelling capability presentations and technical proposals to prospective clients and partners
  • Will attend conferences, events, and other networking meetings with relevant stakeholders to mature sales. Position Requires travel to DC area (if not local).

Requirements 

  • A hunter leader – ability to open doors to new opportunities and client engagements
  • A proven track record (4+ years) of government sales with particular emphasis on selling technology solutions to the Federal sector. 
  • You will have knowledge of government contracts, procurement procedures, and avenues of penetration for IT systems and custom software acquisition. 
  • You have the ability to deliver a compelling value proposition to mid and high level government personnel. 
  • You have experience with high dollar sales and must have a record of selling $1M+ per year
  • Develop strategies to shorten the sales cycle. 
  • Have the ability work independently
  • You are equally comfortable self-generating leads or closing leads provided; and must be experienced in uncovering new opportunities through extensive network. 

Nice have

  • Business development/sales experience with custom application development, UX/UI, and AI is a plus
